Meet Our Robot.

Every year, the FIRST Robotics Competition presents a unique game with radically different challenges. Each season our robot has varying capabilities to optimize its performance in that particular game.

Here are some highlight and competition videos from the 2016, 2017, and 2019 seasons:

Finney Robotics 2019 Competitions:
In this year, our robot had to place "cargo" (similar to kickballs) into "rockets" and "cargo ship" field structures (two rockets and one cargo ship for each alliance of three teams), secure the cargo with "hatch panels" (flat plates), and then climb a "habitat" structure (stepped podiums at each end of the field, one for each alliance).
Finney Robotics 2017 Competitions:
Finney Robotics 2016 Competitions:
In this year, our robot had to shoot "boulders" (similar to nerf balls) into their opponent's tower (situated on each end of the field, one for each alliance of three teams), navigate through the "outer works" (two rows of obstacles that were situated midfield, protecting the towers), and then scale the tower (now weakened by the boulder assault) at the end of the match.
